I wanted to provide you a bit of feedback on the new Simms SolarFlex Armor shirt, having worn one for most of my most recent Christmas Island trip.
This shirt is by far the most practical and best performing UPF 50 rated shirt I have worn. The inbuilt buff / gaiter worked a treat, being an integral part of the shirt means no risk of gaps around the neck area, and the secondary protection of the incorporated hoodie not only ensured total sun protection around the temples and upper eyebrows, but it also provided a welcome spray guard from annoying salt spray when travelling between the flats.
Simms claims about the wicking properties, fast drying features and the cooling effects of the Coolcore fabric were all tested and validated on those long, hot days on the flats
Definitely my new "go to" sun protection!
