Kiritimati (Christmas) Island is the worlds largest coral atoll, and is part of the Republic of Kiribati. Christmas Island is located in the middle of the Pacific ocean, approximately ½ way between Fiji & Hawaii. 

Christmas Island has become one of the worlds premier sports fishing destinations, with its numerous Bonefish being the major draw card. Plenty of anglers also target its other exciting flats species such as GT's, triggerfish etc. Blue water fishing is also available, so tuna, wahoo, sailfish are also easily accessible.
 
Christmas Island is on every fly fishers bucket list, and for good reason.
